Sem Break!

As the title would suggest...I have finished my finals and is currently on holidays for about 1 week plus now...nothing much has happened but there are some notable stuff to post about I guess...

1st thing I did after my finals is having Max lending me a hand in formatting and cleaning my PC...I'm a NOOB in terms of computers and thx to him most of my computer is back into operating condition in an afternoon...though there are still some softwares missing here and there...but nothing I can't handle on my own (the power of google)...there's not much difference between my PC before and after formatting...but there's one notable difference...the audio simply sounds better for no reason...don't ask me how cuz my friend didn't do anything weird either...that extra bass is simply evident...

The other differences are that I changed my default internet browser to Google Chrome instead of using Firefox again...wanted to try some new stuff...and also changed my winamp's skin to one that matches the current theme I have applied to my Google Chrome...

Pic is here ---> http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b188/AoD22/miku-fied-1.jpg

In case u're wondering what anime is that girl from...she's not...in fact she's a music synthesizer program called Vocaloid...yeah u heard me right...a program...think one of Al Pacino's old movies S1mOne (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S1mone) I can't really explain how the program works in here cuz it would be a drag...and hell I don't understand it either...but for more informations u can read it here ---> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vocaloid

The reason why she's all over my desktop was at 1st...simply eye candy...then I tried some Vocaloid music...which I at first didn't appreciate either...then after a few listen...I'm actually enjoying the music...think Coldplay on estrogen...yeah...I didn't appreciate Coldplay much at 1st either...but now I'm a fan for lack of a better word...

I think the main reason why people would find it hard to appreciate the music at 1st is cuz...it's just different...the music is fully digital...everything from the rhythm to the vocals themselves are created digitally...and anyone who owns the program which is also on sale that knows how to use it...can just create a piece of their own...so most of them wouldn't sound like conventional music...and this Vocaloid thing is still quite new...1st introduced in 2004...currently extremely popular in Japan (place of origin) and spreading...Another thing I have noticed is that most Vocaloid lyrics are telling a story, and mostly have a PV (something like a music video) that comes along with the song...But of cuz this program isn't without its flaws...like any other program...they are programmed to work best in certain situations and stuff...and in this program...different voices are best to be used in their respective genres which were recommended

Here's one song that I would recommend for anyone who's interested...it sounds the closest to conventional music...but it's really good...in fact this is THE song that got me interested in Vocaloid music...

An Update! Finally!

Man...how long has it been? A month? Probably more than that...It's about time I throw another post in here for whoever that's kind enough to drop by my blog and read...pleasure to have u :) A lot has happened and I'm not sure where to start...But I guess I'll just leave out the unimportant stuff...

1st of all...the Taman Negara trip...that was about a month ago already...but it's worth mentioning...that it sucked...bad...It was so damn boring that the only true fun I had would be running my ass off trying to get to shelter before getting caught in the rain...which is approaching from behind...yes...approaching...heck we can already hear the sound of a downpour closing in from behind...and we barely made it...besides that and getting randomly drenched in river water thx to a playful tour guide who is on the boat next to us who splashing water at us when he passed by...the hike was alright though...it would have been better if not for my ass low stamina...which is just pathetic...the experience of the trip was further hampered down by food...the food provided to us aren't even half decent...and by the time we actually decided to pay for better food...and actually found decent food...it's like heaven

2nd...the start of a new semester...and I'm also happy to say that I have passed all subjects I have taken yet again...but the bad news is...I'm stuck with 1 subject for this semester...yet again! But why?! I'll tell u why...I applied for 2 subjects in my course selection...it's a short semester so I should only take 2...1 was accepted...the other rejected...not wanting to waste another semester...I applied for another subject with around 1 week left till the course selection deadline...then the bloody status for applying stays on pending till past the deadline -_________- to tell u the truth that feels so much like trolling...and it's already the 2nd week...some classes are already having their 1st quiz...and I already have my final assignment outline given to me...it's a freaking short semester...in the end i'm forced to drop that subject or risk failing cuz I would have a hard time catching up to whatever the other class is up to...

3rd...ANIMES...I believe that I was suffering from extreme anime overdose since the start of my last sem break...I finished a 74 episode thriller anime in 3 days...another drama anime with about 50 episodes...and some other animes that has been in my external hard disk cuz it's just so damn good that I don't feel like deleting it...>< But I should probably do some hard disk cleanup so free up some space just in case...although it's still only a little more than half full...

4th...games...I just got myself resident evil 5 the other day...it's awesome...but could really really really use some better AI...ur AI partner is so dumb in so many ways that it's just frustrating to list down the details...I'll leave the ranting to whoever that's going to try the game next...and oh...I've been playing Tekken 6 int eh arcades for a while too...I've gotten better but till have much to learn as I still get whupped easily by the more skilled guys...It's fun though...:p

And that's about it...other stuff are probably too insignificant to be mentioned so...

Annoying...oh so annoying...

I just caught myself a cold recently...no worries it's not H1N1...experienced these kinda shit a few times before...can't say I'm too happy to experience it again although it's not the more dangerous counterpart that I'm infected with...Same bloody case again...I got snot flowing backwards to my throat and overtime it turns into flem...causing a hacking cough...

Been coughing like that for a couple of days now...today would be the 3rd...1st day would probably be the most serious as I actually coughed till my throat started to feel painful (experienced it before too, sad to say -_- ) 2nd day...throat is considerably better and coughing less...though it seems to be worse at night...especially during my sleep hours...making me lose some sleep though not totally...3rd day...cough seems even less...looks like I'm well on the way to recovery...

Well I was dead wrong about that...coughing is the worst so far during sleep hours although the sore throat has entirely disappeared...I was coughing so much that I simply can't sleep...it's like every time I get close to sleeping (feeling relaxed and starting to fall asleep) a wake-up call in the form of a damned cough would make me come to my senses...so I kinda spent 4 hours on my bed coughing every 5 minutes to keep myself unwillingly awake...

It's not my 1st time losing sleep, but losing sleep over something like this is just annoying...if there is a level rating for my annoyance it would be over 9000 now...seriously...this is like someone playing a practical joke on me to prevent me from going to sleep...and thx to that...here I sit now typing this blog post for lack of something better to do...annoying...oh how annoying...

Well it's been a while since I blogged anyway...but I've been wanting to say this for a while too...Micheal freaking Jackson...frankly speaking...I just don't get it...people seem to only truly be appreciated when they're actually dead and can't BE appreciated...and such I find the buttloads of people who jumped on the MJ bandwagon more of an insult than honoring the King of Pop...I mean seriously...put urself in his shoes...for the last decade or so I might say people have sort of starting to forsake MJ for his eccentric behaviour save for his hardcore fans...then when he died people start regarding him as a legend...what sort of hypocricy is this?! I've never really liked MJ and my opinion has not changed just cause he's freaking dead...People say I'm heartless but I say it's common sense...you wanna honor somebody then do it when they're alive and kicking...not when they're dead and it already means nothing to them cuz they're 6 feet under and rotting like any other corpse in the world...

A breather

FINALLY.........I was rushing my ass off with assignments lately, and now I finally have a breather...with 2 assignments down and 2 more to go, I am certainly looking forward to that sem break and the end of semester dinner that I'm going to have with my public speaking class, along with the lecturer that I have grown to respect so much...

That aside, another 2 weeks and I'll only need to worry about my psychology paper which I have around 2 weeks free time to study it...I have ample time and opportunity to get my brain filled with what's important so I guess I'm lucky to have that...But damn, I have never rushed that many assignments in such a short time before, and that was hella tiring...it's probably a blessing that next semester would be a short semester, and best of all, I get to go to Australia and visit my dear old brother...

To make things worse

I kinda forgot to include this one on my last post...but a few days ago the primary school that I used to attend was quarantined due to confirmed cases of H1N1...none other than the 'pretigious SJK (c) Jalan Davidson...and a friend of mine is currently teaching there...it's perhaps lucky to say that she seems fine...

And then it was my parents who were down with a sore throat after coming back from a trip to HK...They were wearing face masks for a few days too...gave me a scare but luckily it was ultimately nothing...Then it was a friend of mine who was down for a few days with flu like symptoms...or chicken pox...and haven't really heard from her since...hoping for the best there

Seems like H1N1 is reaching an outbreak level in M'sia currently

Sad story... : \

So it's been about a month since I last updated...well can't really blame though...nothing's really came up until recently...other than that...it's all been college, assignments, arcade, and loop those over and over again...

As for the 1st interesting thing that happened in my life in a month or so...it came in 3...in the form of assignments...though probably the fun and interesting kind...which I am thankful for...2 from my visual communications and 1 from public speaking...for those in visual comms I will have to design and make a learning book for children between ages 4-6...and the other is I'll have to make a 'Green'-shopping bag...the environmental friendly kind...with designs on it...Then it would be public speaking...we will be doing a speech assuming that me and my partner are running for the posts of President and Vice-President in a student council election...interesting stuff indeed...kinda nerve wrecking too...

2nd thing is that I finally get to learn the Basics of photography hands-on with my best friend ZH...the sad thing is...I'm actually taking the same subject in college...I took up the subject during course selection thinking it will have alot of practical work and less theories to bog down my mind with...apparently I was dead wrong about that...Since the start of this semester...we had nothing but theories on how to take photographs...You must be thinking 'WTF?' right now...yeah I was too...it was really all theories...how to do this and that and this and that...and the lecturer never really showed you how to do it...how to apply it in real life...I guess I could say that what he's been teaching so far is pretty much useless...It's nearly been 2 months since my 1st class of this subject...and I only had to take TWO photos so far...furthermore I need to sit through 3 hours of lecture straight every week...although it's not a good thing to do I really can't help but bring myself a newspaper when I'm going for that class...It's dead boring...I swear I felt like smashing my head to the wall at times cuz that really seemed more interesting during class times...Although it could also be said as a miracle that I haven't missed much of this class...

3rd would probably be my hobby...I already have enough money since last month...but I plan to wait it out and start the next one with ZH...so he'll get how to assemble stuff like this although it's pretty straight forward...but guidance is really better than nothing no? But anyhow...date is set for this one...I'll be getting the next one on July 4th...yeah...america's independence day...and so happens I'll be going for a MT3 team meeting during that day too...we'll probably be watching Transformers 2...having a more expensive lunch menu instead of the usual...I guess we have already accomplished what this team was originally made for...Just a bunch of friends fooling around...not fast enough to be a pro...but fast enough to give the pros a run for their money...we set out to show that we may not have as much money to throw onto the game...but we are as good as those who have...and that IMo has ben achieved quite some time ago...which is good...=D

Last but not least...which would really be a sad thing to say...my sister just informed me that a relative of mine who was once very close to me was diagnosed with cancer...My initial reaction is that I really don't know how to react to that...I knew he was sick but I didn't know it was that serious...furthermore we weren't as close as we used to be anymore...I guess when we make new friends our relationship with the older ones tend to get distant after some time...nevertheless we're still good with each other...but he looked fine the last I saw him...which was only a few days ago...what I don't understand is how did he get it though? It's just like one of those cases where a chain smoker lived well up to 80 years old before dying from old age and another perfectly healthy 25 year old man was diagnosed with lung cancer although he never touched a ciggarrette in his 25 years of existence...

Oh well...what happens happens...can't really put a stop to it...but I do hope they can treat it...and I hope it's not too late for it either...

A work in progress...

So it's now 2 week into college and currently the third week...and it does get a little discouraging when I find myself not understanding half of the stuff they're teaching...makes me feel like skipping classes...but my other half tells me that is more the reason to stay in class in order to catch up and get a better picture of what i'm learning...which my matured self agrees with while the tiny little devil that was sitting on my shoulder still offers temptation...but nonetheless I force myself to get in the classes that I've took...A work in progress...

Then the other is I've been sticking to my work out plan for about 3 weeks now...although it's nothing more than a few push ups, sit ups and whatnot daily I'm already feeling the results...which is good...and it makes me feel like I've accomplished something...It's still far from my intended and final goal but it's certainly a stepping stone to get myself back in shape...and I will slowly but surely work my way up back to a better physical state...A work in progress...

Last but not least...my revived hobby...soon I will have enough money to get myself another set to work with...most probably at the end of this month...and most probably a fighter jet instead of a car...which is also another thing I'm looking forward to...A work in progress...

Completed!

So I was talking about reviving an old hobby in my previous post...and that I will assemble the model car after my finals...Well I did...although not exactly the best around but I feel good by just completing it =D...

I started working on it on the day my finals ended...just like I said I would...So I took out the whole box of stuff and sat down in front of me computer after dinner...Just for the music though =P...and started assembling the car...what has surprised me though...is that I sat there for 5 hours assembling it and didn't even move...Obviously I freaking love assembling it...just like I used to...

So after 5 hours of squinting my eyes for the smallest possible parts needed for assembling I finally completed it...Started from 8:30 pm and went all the way till 1:30 am...Aside from my aching back from sitting on the floor for 5 hours straight...I felt a great sense of accomplishment...a kind that I haven't felt in a very long time...

And so here it is...the completed car

And finally, the rear

This is indeed my dream car the FC3S RX-7...It looks like a piece of old junk but to me it looks like subtle styling...and has the word "skill" written all over the car...Cuz the people who knows how to drive this car properly has done wonders in it...Fine example is legendary Japanese race cars driver Keiichi Tsuchiya...

Well now that this one is done...I probably should start saving for the next one...My next model would probably be a fighter jet since I actually found one...I don't really have an exact choice yet but chances are it'll be one of these 3 4th generation fighter jets...the F-14 Tomcat, F-15 Eagle, and the F-16 Fighting Falcon...

Reviving an old hobby

Not a lot of people know that I used to have this hobby...I like to fix things...as in putting things together...heck even when I'm still wee young I love to take my toys apart only to put them back again...which in some cases resulted in a broken toy lol...

Well going into my teens...that interest of putting things together has got me into fixing plastic models of jet fighters...those days would be probably the times where I actually have something better to do other than sitting around in my place and doing nothing in particular...I've collected like RM300-400 worth of resin model kits...although not a number to brag about but in those days I only had RM25 per week for allowance...and every one of those fighter jest that I love so much were assembled on my own without help...and I'm pretty happy about it...until my mom decided it's all trash that does nothing but collects dust and threw it all in a bag regardless of how fragile those models are...thus resulting most of my models heavily damaged...some beyond repair...some that are repaired just doesn't look as good anymore...and after a few weeks of trying to restore every one of them I gave up...and subsequently I went on without a hobby in my teens...

Since then my interest of putting things together mainly went to clearing the clogs in my parent's toilet basin...pathetic no? Now thanks to ZH, I've realized my interest is still there...hungry to put something together and make it look nice...ZH was planning to start what I did as a hobby...so he asked me for advice...and I told him everything I knew about resin models...although there's not a whole lot that I know...I can feel the excitement inside me...then I thought to myself...what the hell...I'm perfectly capable of paying for those models now...and mom certainly won't lay a finger on my things before asking me...so why not start from square one?

You people have no idea how much I liked the sound of that idea...and so with the help of Max...me & ZH went looking for resin model kits...unfortunately...those things that were so popular and easily found in the 90's and early 00's were now considered outdated...the Tamiya shop in KLCC that used to sell al sorts of fighter jet models that I love has now been reduced to a shelf in Isetan...and other shops all over town has resort to selling gundams and whatever else it is...couldn't say I blame them though...

So I went to my last resort...although there's still one place we haven't looked yet...which is the last shop that sells model kits known to us...chances are it's not selling any...but anyhow...i resorted to buying a car model kit...not exactly what I have in mind but it'll do...but no I'm not disappointed that I bought that boxload of plastic that is worth RM 130 after discount...after all that model is of my dream car...the Infini RX-7 GT-X (FC3S)...it's the second generation RX-7 in short...and what's better? It's modeled after a character's car from Initial D...and coincidentally...it is that character's car that got me interested in the FC in the 1st place...so all in all I think i got myself a good enough bargain...But I will not start assembling it just yet...

Why?

I'll save the fun till Friday night...when I have finished my finals...=D

April's Fool

So...It's April's Fool...Billions around the world would be pranked and most probably laugh their head off without receiving any damages to their pride or whatever...That includes me! In fact...I got the best April's Fool joke EVER!

Here it is...

nothing happened

._.

I think my situation already speaks for itself...It's either my friends don't really give a damn about April's Fool or they just forgot about me lol...though I do prefer to think it's the former XD

Why were you running away?

I was listening to some fairly old music that my bro has collected in his car...which is now mine anyways...and I came across Hoobastank...Music's good although it gets a bit tiring towards the end...but worth listening to nonetheless...and worth listening to again...

One song that hit me in particular and made me reminisce a bit a bout her is 'Running Away'...somehow I can directly relate to the lyrics and why we weren't talking anymore and it literally describes how was it back then...I don't regret my decision of dumping this so called friendship...it just puzzles me why did I fell for her in the 1st place...and how I got blinded by love for 2 years going for a total B****...it's not because of a personal grudge I have a against her that I'm calling her that...well maybe a little...but all of my friends called her that too after they heard my sob story...

And here's the song.

-Running Away - Hoobastank-

I don't want you to give it all up
And live your own life collecting dust
And I don't want you to feel sorry for me
You never gave us a chance to be

And I don't want you to be by my side
And tell me that everything's alright
I just wanted you to tell me the truth
You know I'd do that for you

So why are you running away?
Why are you running away?

I did enough to show you that I
Was willing to give and sacrifice
And I was the one who was lifting you up
When you thought your life had had enough
And when I get close you turn away,
There's nothing that I can do or say
So now I need you to tell me the truth
You know I'd do that for you

So why are you running away?
Why are you running away?

I won't bullshit you and lie that I just posted this song here for showing everyone how I feel...But I will tell you that I posted this song cause I want you to know, although I highly doubt you will drop by my blog...but whatever

A Foo-king long post...=O

It's been more than a month since I last updated my blog...and I have alot to type about...just didn't really have the time or just lazy to type it out when I do have the chance...but today...I feel like typing...and I'm ass free to do so...so here it is...a foo-king long post

CNY
1st and foremost is of cuz...CNY celebrations...the celebrations this year is strangely brief...we only went for 3 visitations...major ones anyway...and my father's employees (malays) left earlier than usual...well I suppose it's a good thing after the mess they left in my place...apparently most if not all of them just show up for the angpaus...all except for one uncle who's a family friend...He even helped us clean up after the mess...thx...=)

We also went back to pahang Karak for a day...and did the usual there...gamble, eat kfc, drink shandy, and last but not least...sleep my head off...it was kinda fun though...the gambling part...i was thinking...'oh well, once a year...might as well gameble bigger than my usual 1 buck per round lar'...I increased the bet to 5 bucks per round...at 1st I'm well on my way to a losing streak and alreayd lost about 15 bucks after a few rounds...but after that my luck changed...especially when we shifted to join another table...the game is blackjack...so luck plays a big part...for some reason I just started winning like mad after that...not only did i get the 15 bucks back...I even added another extra 40 to my wallet...XD

EPIC PAINTBALL MATCH
It's only like once every year that I get to play paintball...and for this year...it's only my second time...and as usual I was joining my bro and his friends for it...We spent about an hour trying to get there...and sadly...that's a chore...the paintball range is located in the ass end of nowhere somewhere in gombak...and when we finally found it...thank heavens we can finally start playing...This paintball range however is great compared to the last one...although hard to locate but there's a reason that it's in the ass end of nowhere...located at the foothills of an unknown hill to us...this place is fun with a capital F and real challenging to play in...our 1st 2 games took an average of 15 minutes to 20 minutes...which is nothing special...cuz we played in the easier course 1st...and an easier game mode too...capture the flag on a flat CQB-like ground...with covers so low that u literally have to get urself dirty just to hide...it's pretty fun...

The next one however...it's intense action...it's more stressful than fun...but of cuz if you only do it like once a year then it's great...On the last and third game we played another game mode on another course that is located on an uphill slope and has more cover...the place is also bigger...furthermore...this place requires more tactics than the one on the flat ground...those who are aobve will have a clearer view of whoever's down below...but they'll be pretty exposed most of the time...those who are down under will have better cover but will have difficulties trying to locate the enemy...and the objective? well...you and team will have to run to the middle of the place and get your flag up...then defend it for a minute...it sounds easy enough but it's not when you and ur opponents have infinite respawn and lots of pellets to spray at you...to add to our misery...the flags are very exposed and those who attempt to raise it are easy meat...so after about half and hour of running up and down the slope on a crouching position...our opponent has ran out of pellets and victory is ours...XD

(my knees were so tired that I couldn't walk right for about 2 days)

VALKYRIE
So me n Zh went to watch Valkyrie together, and I'm glad to say it's a pretty good movie...Starring Tom Cruise, it's about a plot to assasinate Adolf Hitler, the leader of the Nazi regime back in WW2...this movie is surprisingly suspenseful although we all already know the outcome of it...that the plot has failed and Hitler lives to terrorize the world for another year or so before he commits suicide when Berlin is surrounded by both the soviet union and the allied forces...and according the a little research I've done after watching the movie...the historical accuracy of this movie is amazing...compared to other movies it is perhaps one of the most accurate movie...

VALENTINE'S DAY
So not surprisingly I spent valentine's day doing nothing again...well not exactly nothing...but close...XD Me, Kenji, WZ and Zh went out to a mamak late at night and talk cock sing song till about 2am in the morning...well we don't get to do this often so wth...I did try to ask a girl out...but evidently that didn't work our too well lol...well I'm already quite used to spending Valentine's Day like this...So whatever

TODAY
I was driving myself and my bro back from a clinic from Pudu...and when we're only a few minutes away from home...I witnessed a hit and run just a car in front of me...Poor guy got hit by a car and got into the air for a fair while before hitting his head on the tarmac...and the driver just drove off...It's probably nothing more than a hit and run...but it's really sickening to see...I told my brother to stay in the car and I got down to help the poor bastard...but what's more sickening than witnessing the accident itself is...there's this bunch of people around the victim...and they aren't doing shit but look...it's only me and another malay who's trying to lift him off the tarmac and put him on the sidewalks where it's safe...until the malay shouted at them to help they just stood there and looked on...Malaysia Truly Asia...

Overall it's been quite eventful...and it's about time to start my assignments...or I risk rushing for the deadline later...

New Year Resolutions

I'm sure a lot of people have New Year Resolutions...I have too...Just that sometimes I tend not to take them seriously... :\ then again it's not like I have a lot of New Year Resolutions before...I'm usually the guy without plans...I just go with the flow...I'll continue to do that this year...but with a few changes in mind...

1.
(it's about a girl and it's private...and I'm sure my close friends already know what I'm gonna do with her...^^)

2.
I really need to start concentrating on my studies...the huge change in college or rather the Uni is just mind blowing...and students simply can't afford to fail subjects...cuz retaking it will cost you a fortune...which is really stupid considering the below-par education level here...I'm thinking about transferring to another college...but I'll stick around for 1 sem...then I'll make my choice later...I'll see how bad is it...

3.
This is probably the hardest and most pathetic of all...find someone new to love cuz the last one isn't really appreciating it... :\

4.(added)
Start working out and lose some weight...already on this one...=P Targeting 65kg...currently at 70kgs with an empty stomach...

Happy New Year =D

Well it's been a long time since I updated in here...A lot of things had happened and I feel like talking about all of them...I'll make it as brief as possible though...=D

Firstly...I took up a part time job about 2 weeks ago...but I only worked for a week...I'm to be a promoter selling men's shoes...which is quite an experience really...I never really thought that I'm not bad of a promoter...=) I'm one of the top sellers of my designated booth...XD BUT...It's hard labor really...Standing 10 hours a day ain't exactly fun...though it would be much better if we were indeed busy...The 1st few days is quite busy...so I guess I had a good start...but towards the end of the week it gets boring...and I took a day off cuz I'm simply too exhausted to work the other day...Overall it was quite an experience to have that job...but it's over now...so screw you mate...XD I haven't collected my pay though...

Then it's Christmas...The oh so depressing time of the year for me...everyone would be out with someone except for lame ass me who can't seem to get anyone to go out with me as usual...but it seems some luck is finally on my side this Christmas...Zh called and asked for a night out...just for supper though...(well it's better than staying at home)...so Me, ZH, and Yoon Yi spent the nite together talking crap and laughing our heads off...whoopie...Then on the next day...I went to Linus' place to celeb Christmas along with Shi Hao and his friend, Voon Loong, Kenneth, ZH and Peng Theng...Voon Loong got high after a few sip of Daniel's special cocktail...but it's not like I fared any better...I had the whole cup of the cocktail...but apparently exhaustion + alcohol is a very bad idea...I didn't get high...I didn't get drunk...I just started feeling dizzy all of a sudden...-____- So I spent the night resting in Linus' place...

Third...It's my favorite arcade racing game...The local arcade has just received a new update for the game...which is pretty impressive...and I'm the 1st guy who gets to try it out...=D I just happen to be there on my day off from the part time job...and they were installing the updates right there when I decided to drop by for a few plays...woots...Overall the update is quite satisfying...difficulty has been ramped up so it actually requires some proper driving to get you through Story Mode...Ghosts are heaps faster...a new track for noobs to whore...and last but not least...the boost effect has been revamped and I have to say I'm loving it...I guess this means I'll be spending shitloads again...cuz it's still as addictive as ever! DX

Then it's my B'day...It's as quiet as ever but I guess that'll do...I sincerely appreciate those who have made time for me and paid for my tab in TGI Friday's =P...Kenneth and Linus also decided to drop by my place for lunch earlier on the day too...Had Nandos'...some good food that I haven't had in a while cuz of the part time job...all u get is Nasi Kandar there...then again I can't say I can blame them...we're getting them for free...: \ and by the way...nice wallet...thx Linus...=D

Finally...it's New Year's Eve...which is also probably the highlight of the year...I took WZ's advice and decided to make some plans for the night...A movie perhaps...though that is ultimately epic fail...din go through with the movie after all...But I also get an invite to join Joshua and gang for NYE celebration...I was never informed much about the details...but apparently we'll be going to The Curve...with that bit of info I managed to drag Zh and his butt out of his place to join me...And so it turns out...we were actually going to a club...My 1st thought is "damn...clubbing...this is gonna suck"...I always think of myself as a person that's not going to enjoy clubbing...but I was dead wrong lol...1st half an hour I was thinking "geez...how the heck did I ended up in here" with all the headbanging music that almost equals to a flashbang effect I'm nearing the point of having a migrain...But thankfully by the next half an hour I'm already quite used to the alcohol and smoke filled room, and of course the music too, which is quite good I might add...=D...by the third half an hour, I finished my green tea vodka and is already moving with the music...This is the 1st time I went to a club in my 20 years of life...and this is also the 1st time in god knows how long I actually danced to music...By the time we left the club I was sweating like hell but thankfully...still sober cuz I'm the fella who's going to be behind the wheel...again...another noteworthy thing though...I haven't seen so many chicks in 1 place b4...it's like a chicken farm! Definitely a sight for sore eyes...=D

That's all folks
