As the title would suggest...I have finished my finals and is currently on holidays for about 1 week plus now...nothing much has happened but there are some notable stuff to post about I guess...
1st thing I did after my finals is having Max lending me a hand in formatting and cleaning my PC...I'm a NOOB in terms of computers and thx to him most of my computer is back into operating condition in an afternoon...though there are still some softwares missing here and there...but nothing I can't handle on my own (the power of google)...there's not much difference between my PC before and after formatting...but there's one notable difference...the audio simply sounds better for no reason...don't ask me how cuz my friend didn't do anything weird either...that extra bass is simply evident...
The other differences are that I changed my default internet browser to Google Chrome instead of using Firefox again...wanted to try some new stuff...and also changed my winamp's skin to one that matches the current theme I have applied to my Google Chrome...

In case u're wondering what anime is that girl from...she's not...in fact she's a music synthesizer program called Vocaloid...yeah u heard me right...a program...think one of Al Pacino's old movies S1mOne (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S1mone) I can't really explain how the program works in here cuz it would be a drag...and hell I don't understand it either...but for more informations u can read it here ---> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vocaloid
The reason why she's all over my desktop was at 1st...simply eye candy...then I tried some Vocaloid music...which I at first didn't appreciate either...then after a few listen...I'm actually enjoying the music...think Coldplay on estrogen...yeah...I didn't appreciate Coldplay much at 1st either...but now I'm a fan for lack of a better word...
I think the main reason why people would find it hard to appreciate the music at 1st is cuz...it's just different...the music is fully digital...everything from the rhythm to the vocals themselves are created digitally...and anyone who owns the program which is also on sale that knows how to use it...can just create a piece of their own...so most of them wouldn't sound like conventional music...and this Vocaloid thing is still quite new...1st introduced in 2004...currently extremely popular in Japan (place of origin) and spreading...Another thing I have noticed is that most Vocaloid lyrics are telling a story, and mostly have a PV (something like a music video) that comes along with the song...But of cuz this program isn't without its flaws...like any other program...they are programmed to work best in certain situations and stuff...and in this program...different voices are best to be used in their respective genres which were recommended
Here's one song that I would recommend for anyone who's interested...it sounds the closest to conventional music...but it's really good...in fact this is THE song that got me interested in Vocaloid music...
That's all Folks
