Causality...cause and effect...every action will have an equal and opposite reaction...

These words are so crystal clear that they hardly require any explanation...so why?

Why is it that people don't realize what they're doing is wrong until they faced the consequences? Why is it that people only realize that they have been taking their loved ones for granted after they have lost them? Why is it that people only start to trust each other after all the love ran out?

Why?

I hope this can be a wake up call for all those who's been reading my blog...please think twice before taking ANYONE for granted...one day they might just be out of your life for good...and you'll have nothing left but regret...

Surgery day...O_o

Well it's not really something to be celebrating about...But hey...I'm finally doing the surgery to remove the screws and plates in my left ankle over 3 years ago TOMORROW...O_o

Yea...that would be like...about 12 hours from now...and after that I'll probably be grounded for about 2 weeks...and no sports for at least 2 months...geez...oh well...

Did some shopping in low yat today to make my inevitable 2 weeks of immobility more comfortable...how exactly am I doing that? I bought myself a 19 inch LCD monitor to replace the old 15 inch...yes...a 15 inch...quite pathetic eh? and also some games to let me pass my time...red alert 3 and dead space...one buggy and the other not working...-__-

My luck just couldn't get any worse doesn't it? well at least the monitor is working like magic...and this huge shining screen in front of me somewhat feels weird after all the years looking at an ass small monitor...oh well...gotta start fasting at 8am tomorrow...no food no drinks...gah...well it's not like the 1st time I didn't had any food or drinks in 6 hours...
but wth...it's gonna happen anyway...and as far as I'm concerned...I'm ready...:\

Final Assignment... =O (EPIC WIN!)

Well me and my buds presented and handed in our final assignment today...marking the end of this very short semester...albeit a memorable one...great lecturer, great classes, great homeworks...I can't believe I just said that -_-...but yea...all in all...I haven't had so much fun studying...

So here's how our final assignments came through...

DAY 1
So me, Fabian, and Siva went to the college's library to brainstorm our arses off...despite another delay (Fabian's car ran out of fuel and we had to save his butt...literally) we were able to come up with a few ideas, and ended up way off the original plan...but that's the beauty of brainstorming...you'll never know what comes out of the nut job of a brain we have...In the end...we took an ass load of pictures in my place for the video *Note that we were only allowed to use still frames for the video*...then when we're done I had a disagreement of ideas with Siva, went on for quite a while but we eventually worked out our differences and compromised...putting a lil bit of the best of our ideas into the video...

DAY 2
I woke up in the morning with a headache...nothing unusual since I get that sometimes when I overslept or simply rolled into an uncomfortable position while sleeping...but my health spiralled downwards rapidly throughout the afternoon...resulting a fever, slight dizziness, sinus infection, and lack of strength...I was feeling so bad I was sure I couldn't finish the video editting in time...so I called Fabian and told him to ask Siva to handle the video editting...after going to the doc's, taking some meds, and having some rest...I decided to do what I can about the video editting...Something weird happened to me though...My sickness went away as quickly as it came...by 10pm at night I was up and around like nothing happened...so I continued with my work till the wee hours in the morning...
*I think it's cuz of the bottle of beer I drank the night b4 XD*

DAY 3
I spent a huge chunk of the day wrapping up the video with some tweaking...to synchronize the still frames to the song...with some help from Max who's got nothing better to do on that day...and some further brainstorming...I was able to finish the video for good and even have some time for a game with ZH...


DAY 4
Day of wreckoning...I was really nervous how the whole thing will turn out...plus the fact that Siva did a video of his own due to me falling sick and all...we had to choose between the 2 videos to present to the class and lecturer...but it was an instant win when I got mine out and showed it to Siva and Fabian...we all decided we should go with my version of the story...and guess what? The whole class loved it...including the lecturers...we received a great round of applause when we finished screening the 1 minute clip...and damn...that felt really really good...I really didn't expect that it would turn out to be so well received...I just thought it's kinda lame though I still put in a lot of efforts into it..."It's very entertaining and interesting, with good camera shots and good music too"...these are the exact words of our 'film critic' Ms. Hazlin AKA the lecturer...I'm rly glad that my work has paid off...What a GREAT way to end a sem...with a very loud bang...=D



I'm dedicating this video in special thanks to Siva and Fabian for a job well done, and of cuz to my elder bro that has been dropping by here every once in a while to check on my well being...=)

Wow

Well it's been a while since I last updated my blog...been quite busy and preoccupied with stuff lately...mainly assignments and all...and I still have one final assignment to go...seems interesting though...and hey...I guess I'm getting my life back on track...not much slacking these days...=) Though the final assignment is due this coming Friday and my group haven't even started work yet...I'm quite confident we can finish it in a few days...Though we'll really need to put our mind to it...

Haven't been playing much of MT lately either...most probably cuz I misplaced my fuel receipts and about 150 bucks went out the window just like that...that means I'm kinda short of money...well no exactly short...my budget is just right to get me through the day...so unnecessary spending might drop me into a hole later...

Saying that though...Just went to the movies with Zh a few days ago...watched Max Payne...Really glad how the movie turned out though...it's the best game based movie yet...=D instead of making up stuff of their own the film crew had stayed true to the plot of the game...which would make a great movie...well all in all...it's worth the 8 bucks that I paid for it...

Sigh...well it seems like I'm not the only one getting all tied up with stuff really...never really get the chance to chat with nana lately too...sigh...I miss her...<3 fun times lol...

ISA anyone?

To those who failed their history in high school and those who doesn't know what's going on around here...ISA = 'Internal Security Act'...It was 1st meant to be used against communist terrorists and racial fanatics when it 1st came out...

Recently the ISA was used against civilians...who were merely voicing their opinions about the government and also about racial issues, and last but not least...telling the truth about the current state our country is in...which is literally a piece of shit...we're having people with intelligence lower than my 5 year old cousin running the country...you don't really need me to tell u that this country is really going in a really bad direction right now...

Furthermore, after a public uproar over the arrests of these 3 civilians...one of them, a reporter for mandarin newspaper, was released and authorities gave a reason for her arrest...she was arrested because they are fearing for her safety and took her into protective custody...seems like a pretty good lie if you take the ISA out of the picture...but it isn't...my point being...

WHAT THE FUCK KINDA REASON IS THAT???!!!

They are using the ISA to take a reporter into 'protective custody'...seriously now...anybody and I mean ANYBODY with half a brain could see that is nothing but a desperate excuse by the authorities to calm down the public uproar...which in this case...their stupidity just made it worse...

Several ministers in within the government are also objecting the use and even calling the ISA for a review to see if that ISA is still necessary for this country...hats off to those who are opposing to the use of ISA against the 3 individuals...1 is already freed while the other 2 are still under arrest...

The worst thing about this situation is that a few weeks ago a government official made a racist remark against the Chinese community saying we are merely immigrants from another country that settled in Malaysia...he is stripped off his rank and was banned from his own political party...this act alone deserves the ISA being used on him...but no...he's a free man sitting in his house drinking coffee and watching the tele about all these...while 3 other individuals were arrested for simply telling the truth...and if we...the Chinese are immigrants from another country...then so are everyone in this country but the Ibans and Kadazan tribes...We even learned this in our high school history books...Malays came from Indonesia, Chineses came from mainland China, and Indians came from India...

SO WHAT GIVES THAT BASTARD THE RIGHT TO CALL US IMMIGRANTS?

I got only 2 words for him...FUCK YOU!

Friends

True friends should stick together through thick and thin...to help each other out no matter what the problem is...This is at least whatpeople always say...But ask yourself...have you ever done your part as a friend?

Have you ever been there for that person when he or she is in trouble?

Friends that I have...well...they're weird...or at least weird as a bunch...simply ranges from one who shares the same ideal as me of the whole point of being a friend, some are just friends who prefer to keep private things private, some are always cheerful but being cheerful is most of the time just the calm before the storm before a mood swing comes in, and some are just awfully depressing, there's even one who always seems to be preoccupied with some stuff and the only times we're in contact with each other is when that person's in trouble...

Though I can surely say I did my part as a friend...sometimes those efforts simply aren't repaid in kind...which is quite disappointing at times...but I guess it comes with the package doesn't it? Once you have chosen that person as a friend, you must put up with his or her flaws...while he or she has to put up with yours...sometimes when conflicts happens...it will in fact strengthen the friendship if both is willing to forgive and forget...lessons learned from these conflicts will help in a lot of ways...but sometimes some people won't really learn...

When lessons aren't learned, I'm not hurt...I'm just disappointed...at times it would seems like everything you did for that friend has no meaning at all...then again...the times you have spent with that friend is something that you hold dear...and in the end you will just keep trying...no matter how disappointed you are...

I hope this will be a wake up call for some friends of mine if they ever read this...
