ISA anyone?

To those who failed their history in high school and those who doesn't know what's going on around here...ISA = 'Internal Security Act'...It was 1st meant to be used against communist terrorists and racial fanatics when it 1st came out...

Recently the ISA was used against civilians...who were merely voicing their opinions about the government and also about racial issues, and last but not least...telling the truth about the current state our country is in...which is literally a piece of shit...we're having people with intelligence lower than my 5 year old cousin running the country...you don't really need me to tell u that this country is really going in a really bad direction right now...

Furthermore, after a public uproar over the arrests of these 3 civilians...one of them, a reporter for mandarin newspaper, was released and authorities gave a reason for her arrest...she was arrested because they are fearing for her safety and took her into protective custody...seems like a pretty good lie if you take the ISA out of the picture...but it isn't...my point being...

WHAT THE FUCK KINDA REASON IS THAT???!!!

They are using the ISA to take a reporter into 'protective custody'...seriously now...anybody and I mean ANYBODY with half a brain could see that is nothing but a desperate excuse by the authorities to calm down the public uproar...which in this case...their stupidity just made it worse...

Several ministers in within the government are also objecting the use and even calling the ISA for a review to see if that ISA is still necessary for this country...hats off to those who are opposing to the use of ISA against the 3 individuals...1 is already freed while the other 2 are still under arrest...

The worst thing about this situation is that a few weeks ago a government official made a racist remark against the Chinese community saying we are merely immigrants from another country that settled in Malaysia...he is stripped off his rank and was banned from his own political party...this act alone deserves the ISA being used on him...but no...he's a free man sitting in his house drinking coffee and watching the tele about all these...while 3 other individuals were arrested for simply telling the truth...and if we...the Chinese are immigrants from another country...then so are everyone in this country but the Ibans and Kadazan tribes...We even learned this in our high school history books...Malays came from Indonesia, Chineses came from mainland China, and Indians came from India...

SO WHAT GIVES THAT BASTARD THE RIGHT TO CALL US IMMIGRANTS?

I got only 2 words for him...FUCK YOU!

And I shall end this post quoting a friend of mine

"I love my country but unfortunately it's now...beyond help", Jason

I believe those words represents a lot of us...

Friends

True friends should stick together through thick and thin...to help each other out no matter what the problem is...This is at least whatpeople always say...But ask yourself...have you ever done your part as a friend?

Have you ever been there for that person when he or she is in trouble?

Friends that I have...well...they're weird...or at least weird as a bunch...simply ranges from one who shares the same ideal as me of the whole point of being a friend, some are just friends who prefer to keep private things private, some are always cheerful but being cheerful is most of the time just the calm before the storm before a mood swing comes in, and some are just awfully depressing, there's even one who always seems to be preoccupied with some stuff and the only times we're in contact with each other is when that person's in trouble...

Though I can surely say I did my part as a friend...sometimes those efforts simply aren't repaid in kind...which is quite disappointing at times...but I guess it comes with the package doesn't it? Once you have chosen that person as a friend, you must put up with his or her flaws...while he or she has to put up with yours...sometimes when conflicts happens...it will in fact strengthen the friendship if both is willing to forgive and forget...lessons learned from these conflicts will help in a lot of ways...but sometimes some people won't really learn...

When lessons aren't learned, I'm not hurt...I'm just disappointed...at times it would seems like everything you did for that friend has no meaning at all...then again...the times you have spent with that friend is something that you hold dear...and in the end you will just keep trying...no matter how disappointed you are...

I hope this will be a wake up call for some friends of mine if they ever read this...

Well it was zh's and will's b'day yest...but we celebrated on Thursday cuz Ju Anne isn't free on other days of the week...Oh well...

At 1st we were planning to bake them cupcakes and all...but the plan nv went through cuz of contradicting time schedules and poor planning again...Oh well...Our idea of celebration ended up as dining in a Japanese fine dining restaurant in Sunway Pyramid...For the price it was good...=D but of cuz...it's also expensive as hell...so ouch to my wallet again...and driving there and back is a pain in the ass as well...I drove past the same spot in MRR2 3 times in the same day...-_- and of cuz...the traffic jam...dammit...

Overall it was quite a day and I left sunway pyramid with some scratches thx to Ju Anne again...I'm like her scratching board...-_- don't ask why it's been like that for years and hell I dunno why either...XD

Next day...which is Friday...Me and Zh has an outing with Reanne and Ham for the day...quite fun to be with...although it's the 1st time we ever saw each other and it's quite awkward...but the day turned out alright...=) we ate lunch at Chilli's and hurt our wallets again...D= And dman...I nv knew tacos were so nice...XD

Then we headed for the cinema to watch WALL.E...which is funny...and touching...typical disney stuff but heck I love it...=D one of the better movies I've watched so far in fact...and the whole thing is just darn CUTE! hahahahaha...well...Overall the day went quite well for me...Would be looking forward tohang out with Reanne / Sotong next time...=D

What does my name means (tagged by nana :P )

What's the meaning of my name?

Lee Choon Fai

It's a Chinese name so I didn't expect too much from it...well at least some parts were correct...

Here's the verdict

You are relaxed, chill, and very likely to go with the flow.
You are light hearted and accepting. You don't get worked up easily.
Well adjusted and incredibly happy, many people wonder what your secret to life is.
'Yeap...that's me right there...=D'

You are friendly, charming, and warm. You get along with almost everyone.
You work hard not to rock the boat. Your easy going attitude brings people together.
At times, you can be a little flaky and irresponsible. But for the important things, you pull it together.
'Riiiiiight....: \'

You are very open. You communicate well, and you connect with other people easily.
You are a naturally creative person. Ideas just flow from your mind.
A true chameleon, you are many things at different points in your life. You are very adaptable.
'I don't communicate with girls well...D=...Creative? I dunno bout that...Chameleon...maybe...:\'

You are truly an original person. You have amazing ideas, and the power to carry them out.
Success comes rather easily for you... especially in business and academia.
Some people find you to be selfish and a bit overbearing. You're a strong person.
'I don't see any grounds supporting this statement...: \'

You are well rounded, with a complete perspective on life.
You are solid and dependable. You are loyal, and people can count on you.
At times, you can be a bit too serious. You tend to put too much pressure on yourself.
'Perspective on life? nah...Solid and dependable? Damn right...=) Too much pressure on myself? -_- I'm not putting any'

You are very intuitive and wise. You understand the world better than most people.
You also have a very active imagination. You often get carried away with your thoughts.
You are prone to a little paranoia and jealousy. You sometimes go overboard in interpreting signals.
'Quite true...=D'

You are loving, compassionate, and ruled by your feelings.
You are able to be a foundation for other people... but you still know how to have fun.
Sometimes your emotions weigh you down, but you generally feel free from them.
'Yeap...I'm quite emo...But i keep it in check...=D'

You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection.
You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive.
You have the classic "Type A" personality.
'Uh...huuuuh....: \'

You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing.
'Ahahaha...easily satisfied...:P'

You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long.
'Is that so? O_o'

You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start.

'Yeap...=D'

Most of what I have here is the same as Nana's...: \
So I wouldn't take it too seriously...But then again some of it is true...=D

Visiting nana's restaurant (ROADTRIP!)

So...I decided to visit Rowena's family restaurant...and also decided to drag zh n kenneth along with it...XD mostly cuz I have this really bad sense of direction...and also I think it's better than going there alone...-_-

PS: that was actually like 2 weeks ago

I had the exact address in my HP and I forgot to check it...biggest mistake of the day...I just followed what I can remember from Rowena's directions which is follow the OUG highway or something along the lines which I don't really remember...and to top that off...none of us knows how to get to OUG...not that it's the right place to go to begin with...but heck...that's what we got for the time being so might as well go along with it...

With my god awful sense of direction and navigation...we managed to find OUG with kenneth's help...(all 3 of us don't know the way to OUG)...so when we were there...we were thinking...where's the shop? And finally I remembered the address in my HP...-_- it's actually in taman bukit jalil rather than OUG...XD

Luckily OUG isn't that far from taman bukit jalil...and we got there without much trouble...just reaching taman bukit jalil though...we found this whole network of roads kinda like a web and got confused...we got out from taman bukit jalil and back in OUG by taking the wrong turn a couple of times...-_- more than that...we ended up in some distant housing are way up in the mountains...where one of my distant relatives live in...-_-...yea...i'm that bad in navigation...XD I freaking admit it...XD and we even found another branch of our good ol' mamak stall...AL BARKATH! XD

At about 1:45 we finally found the restaurant...which is located right beside some housing areas...not the same one that we got into earlier though...well the shop is quite nice...still looking relatively new...cuz it IS new...opened for about a week only...and haven't got the full menu in place yet...D=

Damn...I was hoping for something with cheese...XD oh well...in the end I settled for some curry noodles and it was not bad...tastes averagy but there's a whole lot of ingredients in it...which is good...=D and some tarts which i forgot the name...seems homemade and it's quite good...but I hate bananas...D= had so much of it when i was a kid that I developed a 'phobia' XD

Oh well...that was quite a day...at least we all know the way to OUG now...haha...

Ah...

So the accident I mentioned in the previous post made headlines in today's newspapers...yea it's THAT bad...though it MIGHT have been downplayed by the media...cuz it doesn't really seem to be there's only 2 fatalities...but if that were true it would be the best possible outcome though...

Anyways...Just went to BTS for another movie...The Mummy...yeap...that one...no not your mom...XD Oh well...it's one typical Disney movie...got what I expected...and nothing special...it really is the ordinary of the ordinaries...if you get what i mean...it's not bad at all means...but of course it pales in comparison to Batman...hell that movie is one of the best movies I've ever watched in recent years...

Damn...

I just got some new shock absorbers for my car...or my brother's car...oh who gives a damn...and I'm gonna give it a little test drive in MRR2 today...and that's exactly what I did...=D

2 runs in MRR2 between my place and Taman Connaught...considerable amount of bumps and potholes and 'waves'...heck dun blame me for saying this...blame the government for making it so damn stupid...-_-

Run number 1...cruising through MRR2 at about 80km/h...at this speed my car would be scratching its tires no question...and probably the front bumper...but...i felt nothing today...1st run...GOOD...=D

So when I was ending my run when I was reaching Taman Connaught...taking a junction that connects directly from MRR2 to Taman Connaught...As I was going down the slope at that junction...I saw a huge group of people gatherin at the end of the junction's roadside...and I was thinking maybe theres some kinda event going on so I slowed down...just slow enough to make out that in the group of people...some are policemen and some are firemen...that can't be good...

I literally got the shock of my life after what I saw...this white SsanYong MPV was lying on the side of the road all crushed up...my goodness...it would be a bloody miracle if anyone survived that...and on the side of that car there's the divider...or what's left of it...I looked to the opposite and there lies a truck...a huge truck...used for transporting boulders and that's exactly what it is carrying...i was stunned...speechless...when I got to the other side and met up with wz...we went to giant...directly above the truck to get a better view of the crash...we're not really those kind of ppl who park at the side of the road just for a better view mind you...-_- and there were plenty that time...this salesman started talking to us and told us how it all went through...apprently he's doing his daily routine of promoting stuff while the accident happened and he's one of the few people who were there to help before the police arrived...although there's nothing much to help...

According to him...this truck...was coming down the same way me n wz took to get to connaught...but it was SPEEDING...speeding while carrying a huge load like that is never in any world a wise choice my friend...unless you can defy the laws of physics that is...so the truck couldn't stop in time...and smashed into a car...the MPV...which spun a number of times before coming into a stop...the truck then continued over the divider...hitting a motorcyle...which rider was instantly killed as the head was apparently decapitated...and smashing another van into the wall outside giant at the highway...trust me...I'm glad to be arriving at Connaught 2 hours later than I originally intended to...All that were involved in the accident was killed on the spot...except for the van driver...he is all broken up and barely alive...and already off to the hospital when I was there...the firemen made shortwork of the wreckage and extracted the man from it pretty quickly...hats off to them...but I couldn't see the van anywhere...so I guess it might not be as bad as it seems for the van...

Then the same salesman who told me the whole thing is promoting me his products...car cleaning stuff...which works really well and frankly...it is what my car needs now...since it's at a bargainable price I cut a deal with him and will buy it...just not today...

After lunch...I decided to head home...and it was only then...the full extent of the damage caused by the disaster was revealed to me...I can finally see the van with the lorry removed...it's embedded in the wall outside giant...Trust me...you won't see another car being this flat unless you're in a junkyard of some sort...God must've loved the driver...cuz I can't really imagine how could he survive that crash...although he's probably declared dead after he was sent to the hospital...best of wishes to the guy...the others aren't that lucky though...like I said...all except the van driver were instantly killed on the scene...the worst thing is...the people in the MPV are a whole family...I don't know if there are any kids in there but I really hope not...though probably yes...

Back at home...I took my usual afternoon nap and went to pavillion to have dinner and celebrate my brader's b'day...happy 18th b'day bro...though it could have been better if my mom would just hold her damn tongue and stop verbally shooting others for the night...
